Rod Nicholson is the Managing Director and founder of Creative Life International Ltd, a unique business, dedicated to empowering others through sharing real knowledge and wisdom. In his professional life, Rod has been a teacher and headmaster, a business man and author, and by any modern standards, he has achieved enormous success in any venture he has committed himself to.
But it's not just Rod's knowledge, experience and compassion which equips him to help others. At the age of 16, Rod joined the Christian Brothers, and became a monk. He knew then that life had a deep meaningfulness, and that his path in life was to make the world a better place. His life story up to now is one which is full of examples of his dedication to that decision - he eventually left the Brothers, married and had four children, emigrated to Australia, built up a small country secondary school of 240 pupils to over 1000 in the course of a decade, and created one of the most successful psychic lines in the world today. His passion for reading and learning has allowed him to accumulate a breadth and depth of knowledge of most of the great wisdom traditions in the world today - christian theology, taoism, buddhism, etc. And informing all of that experience has been his commitment to personal contemplation, and to living his life with integrity and compassion.
And now, at the age of 70, Rod is beginning a new venture - the development of a project he has named as 'The Wisdom Factor'. It is difficult to articulate simply what 'The Wisdom Factor' actually is in the English language. The Japanese word 'Sensei' comes close - The two characters that make up the term can be directly translated as "born before" and implies one who teaches, based on wisdom from age and experience. But there's still something more - the mysterious element which is difficult to quantify. This mysterious element is there in the words Rod shares with you - put simply, it's the energy which he shares directly with you. He has the unique gift of awakening a deep knowing within you - that knowing we all have within ourselves - our own personal wisdom.
Personally, I have known Rod for almost 25 years. I was a very young and inexperienced teacher in that school in 'small town Australia' all those years ago. I watched as he regularly held an assembly hall of over 1000 teenagers in the palm of his hand, not through fear, as so many teachers and school principals do, but because he had something real and meaningful to communicate. In more recent years, working again with Rod in Creative Life International, I can honestly say that he has taught me more about life than anyone else I've known, and he has helped me to find a level of peacefulness and self-acceptance that I previously doubted I'd ever really find.
I believe that Rod Nicholson has the ability to really know people in their essence, and he does this very quickly - he doesn't need long conversations to access this knowledge. It's not that kind of knowledge. He simply goes to his own personal wisdom and 'knowing' and connects with people in their heart of hearts.

I am often asked how I, as an Australian, have ended up living on an island off the northwest coast of Scotland! Why on earth would I want to leave a sun-baked country like Australia for a misty, cold and damp one? Well for me, the answer is simple. I know I belong here - I know it in the depth of my being. 
Born and brought up in the North East of Scotland, Lynne moved to the Isle of Skye in 2009 to join the Origin team. She offers clients of the Origin Retreat Centre a wide selection of holistic therapies to choose from during their stay.
Lynne has been working with energy-based therapies for over 10 years. She initially completed 2 years of training with the Federation of Spiritual Healers, and then went on to develop her skills and experience with training in Reiki, Sekhem, Shamanic Healing and Quantum Touch. As a qualified Fitness Instructor, Lynne is able to advise clients on lifestyle changes to improve physical fitness and health. Passionate about energy medicine, she is now extending her knowledge and sensitivity to the animal world and branching into animal communication.
Lynne approaches all treatments holistically - taking into consideration a client’s emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, and is guided intuitively in using specific crystals, and the vibrational essence of various tree or plants, to assist in the healing process. During a therapy session, energy is directed into a client’s body, to help bring their body energy systems back into balance, leaving the client feeling relaxed and energised, and helping the body to heal itself more effectively.
As individual beings, we each experience different sensations and outcomes from a treatment. Clients experience such deep relaxation during a session that comments such as have “I feel welded to the treatment couch” are not uncommon. They also experience relief from both acute physical and emotional pain during and following treatments.
Having already developed her psychic awareness through working with healing therapies, Lynne is now undergoing intensive tarot development with Origin Psychics.
Graham has been involved with holistic therapies for over 15 years, his background includes working as a fitness consultant training teachers and clients.
After years of observing many clients struggling to maintain the changes in their lifestyles, he realised that in most cases it was the emotional and mental aspects of their life which created the failure. With this in mind, he decided to start his life journey of holistic therapies, starting with Reiki, and then Sekhem - reaching Master Teacher level in both therapies.
Still searching for his true path, he could not avoid the calling he had to mother nature and after a long period of studying he felt that shamanism was to be his life-long path.
Graham was mentored by an Inuit Medicine Man (Shaman) and finally ordained in Baffin Island, Canada.
Graham still teaches Reiki, but his passion is in his Shamanic work and although his background was Inuit, he now finds his true path is in studying Celtic Shamanism, the Ogham alphabet, and working with indigenous trees in his homeland of Scotland.
Clients can experience vision quests, sweat lodges, firewalking, soul retrieval, shamanic journeying, healing and extractions.
Now residing on the Isle of Skye, and having connected with the energy of this beautiful island, he looks forward to sharing his knowledge with Shamanic Practitioner students.
Many of Graham’s students have stated that he teaches with clarity, groundedness, from the heart, and with an open minded sense of humour.
